Copycat
I could not be outdone by my namesake, Connie Lavon. So I borrowed her finery but I am sure you can tell us apart. I am the one with wrinkles. However, I refused to put “bubble-head pink” on my hair. I did not want to ruin my reputation! They say the best compliment you can pay someone is to copy them. I must say I am proud of my namesake and my last born, Laurie. She does not like to be called the baby tho. However, she doesn’t mind being called Sweet Darlin’ Angel. That is the name my family gave her when she was born. There were many times she was almost an angel but I am glad God let me keep her. I am proud of both of them!
